GE Vernova teaming with Fidelity for pension admin !

Important Update on Recordkeeper for your GE Vernova Pension Benefits
We are making some changes that will impact how you access your pension benefits.
Here is what you can expect:
Beginning January 1, 2025, the following changes will take effect:
GE Vernova pension plans* recordkeeping and pension payment services will transition to Fidelity. You will access your plan information by visiting netbenefits.com
or calling 1-800-354-6538.

Starting January 1, 2025, Fidelity will process your pension payments. Your gross pension benefit amount and the timing of your pension payment is not changing.
On netbenefits.com you will be able to view your pension payment summary, change your tax withholding and update your direct deposit information.
Historical pension pay summaries and tax forms (Form 1099, Form W-2) prior to January 1, 2025, will also be available on netbenefits.com
You will continue to manage your GE Vernova Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) account, if applicable, through Fidelity.
You can contact Fidelity to update your mailing address, marital status, beneficiary designations, or\line report a death of a participant or beneficiary, under a pension plan or the RSP.

If you are enrolled in retiree health benefits and/or life insurance plans, you will access your plan information by visiting Worklife.gevernova.com (replacing OneHR.ge.com) or calling GE Vernova People Operations at 1-844-623-2204. This phone number will not be active until January 2, 2025.

GE Vernova People Operations will answer questions about deductions from your pension payment for those benefits. You can also update your mailing address, marital status, and beneficiary designations, or report a death of a participant, dependent or beneficiary.

If you are 65 or older, you may access Via Benefits to help you find, evaluate, and enroll in Medicare Supplemental or Medicare Advantage coverage that best fits your needs. There will be a new phone number to call (844 876-6371), and you can also visit the Via Benefits website at my.viabenefits.com/gevernova

What's next:

If you are currently enrolled in direct deposit for your pension payment, Fidelity will verify your current direct deposit information with your bank, which may result in a notification to you. Fidelity will send you more information over the coming months. You can continue to use the GE Pension Benefits Inquiry Center at 800-432-3450 or access your information on OneHR.ge.com until December 31, 2024.
